Our Origin: A Passion for Hospitality and Play
Zonadefortuna was born from a simple idea: that a great meal and a friendly game of poker belong together. Our founders, lifelong friends with backgrounds in hospitality and competitive card play, saw a gap in Sydney's social scene. They envisioned a place where adults could enjoy world-class dining and then retire to a luxurious poker lounge for friendly, non-monetary competition.
In 2019, that vision became reality with the opening of our Bridge Street venue at 18 Bridge Street, Sydney NSW 2000. From the first evening, the club was designed to feel like a private members' retreat, balancing the energy of the poker room with the calm of the dining room.
